Capitol Hill bartender wants to make sure congressmen and the president feel the sting of Obamacare
Steve Hadley, a bartender at the Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar just blocks away from the White House, wants to make sure congressmen and the president feel the sting of their misleading healthcare legislation, but he’s also got a special deal for those unfortunate furloughed government workers deemed non-essential.
Furloughed government workers can exchange two $1 Federal Reserve notes for a pint of booze.
Congress critters might want to find a different bar, because Hadley is charging them $25. According to Hadley, “They are all still getting paid plenty.”
However, if your office is in the shape of an oval and your name was once Barry Soetoro, Hadley’s special pricing for you needs to cover the cost of his healthcare IRS tax.
According to the barkeep, President Obama’s price reflects the price of disobeying the law’s individual mandate. In Hadley’s own words, “That is the price of my Obamacare penalty, plus 2 bucks.”
