1:55 PM PT -- We've obtained the police dashcam video of the stop ... in which George Zimmerman informs the cop he has a firearm in his glove box. 

Both Zimmerman and the officer are very polite to each other during the stop. 

Zimmerman remains in his vehicle during the entire incident. 



George Zimmerman is still armed and theoretically dangerous ... he was stopped by cops for speeding and revealed he had a gun in his glove compartment.

Zimmerman was speeding in Forney, Texas on Sunday, just after noon, when he was stopped by police.  Zimmerman told cops he was headed "nowhere in particular," and informed them he had a firearm in his glove compartment.

Zimmerman was given a warning, after cops determined he was free of warrants.  He was sent on his way with a polite goodbye, "Have a safe trip."

The stop lasted around 5 minutes.

BTW ... law enforcement tells TMZ ... he was NOT wearing a disguise ... it was full blown George Zimmerman.

Khan al-Assal Massacre to Cover-up Chemical Weapons Use by Alqaeeda linked Jabhat al-Nusrah again.

 (nsnbc),- Both Russia and Syria have condemned the massacre in Khan al-Assal, committed by the Jabhat al-Nusrah affiliated “Liwaa Ansar al-Khilafa” brigade. Russia is calling for an immediate political settlement of the conflict in Syria. Syria´s Ambassador to Moscow stressed, that the al-Qaeda linked terrorists committed the massacre on 27 July to cover-up the use of chemical weapons in the area. 

Russian Foreign Ministry called Khan al-Assal Massacre Genocide. The Russian Foreign Ministry sharply condemned the massacre committed by terrorist groups in the Khan al-Assal district of Aleppo, in which more than 123 Syrians, predominantly unarmed, non-combatant civilians were murdered.

Russia´s Foreign Ministry stressed, that the two terrorist groups had committed the crime of genocide, saying:

“The fighters of the two extremist groups have committed the crime of genocide by killing the captive Syrian officers as well as the pro-government civilians”. 

Russia´s Foreign Ministry has called on the international powers who are involved in the crisis to do their utmost to immediately realize a political settlement and to put an end to the bloody crimes which are being committed by international terrorism.

Russia´s Foreign Ministry has also stressed the need for conducting a full investigation into the use of chemical weapons in the Khan al-Assal district of Aleppo and encouraged further cooperation between the Syrian government and the UN, saying:

“Moscow welcomes the constructive nature of the contacts underway in Damascus and efforts to reach an agreement without delay”. 

Such agreements, the Ministry stated, would open the door for an accurate and objective investigation into the incident of chemical weapons use in Khan al-Assal. The Foreign Ministry also encouraged the UN expert team to take into account the results of the investigations which Russian experts have conducted regarding the Khan al-Assal incident, which have been forwarded to the office of the UN Secretary General as well as to the White House on 9 July 2013.

The United Nations High Representative for Disarmament Affairs and the Head of the Investigation Committee affiliated to the UN visited Damascus on 24 – 25 July, on invitation of the Syrian government. The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry has previously described the talks as “fruitful and comprehensive”.

The UN team accepted the invitation from Damascus after substantial political pressure from the side of Russia, after Russia informed the UN in no uncertain terms that the Russian expert investigators had followed all international standards in their investigation into the Khan al-Assal chemical weapons incident and that the evidence clearly pointed into the direction of the foreign-backed insurgents.

Syrian Ambassador Dr. Riyad Haddad: “Khan al-Assal Massacre Committed to Cover-up Chemical Weapons Use by Al-Qaeda. The Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Riad Haddad stressed, that the armed terrorist groups who committed the recent massacre in Khan al-Assal were linked to al-Qaeda, and that the Khan al-Assal massacre had been committed with the intention to erase the traces of the chemical weapons which had been used in the area. Dr. Riad Haddad spoke to the Russian news agency Ria Novosti, saying:

“The main goal with the carnage which was committed by Jabhat al-Nusrah and the Ansar al-Khalifa brigade was to kill the witnesses on the use of chemical weapons which had been used by the armed terrorist groups”. 

The chemical weapons attack in Khan al-Assal, with an improvised chemical laden rocket, killed 25 and injured another 110. During the subsequent massacre, another 123 were murdered and many still remain missing. Mass graves were discovered, which showed that the terrorists had attempted to hide their tracks by mutilating many of the bodies before attempting to incinerate them.

So far, western mainstream media have failed to report objectively about the chemical weapons incident and the subsequent massacre. The US Administration of President Barak Obama, the British Administration of Prime Minister David Cameron, the French Administration of President Francois Hollande, the Israeli Administration of Benjamin Netanjahu, and the regimes of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, who continue their material support of the terrorists with funds, arms, special forces, intelligence and other aid which amounts state-sponsorship of terrorism and the use of mercenaries, have failed to distance themselves from the terrorist organizations and to condemn terrorism in all of its forms.

So far, the US-Administration of President Barak Obama has also failed to take tangible steps with regard to using its influence to bring the foreign-backed “opposition” to the negotiating table in Geneva. The continuous support of the armed insurgents and failure to take tangible steps toward fulfilling the United States part of the US – Russian agreement to work towards holding the second international conference on Syria as soon as possible, has prompted Russia´s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov to say:

“If our US partners are currently putting the emphasis in the Syrian issue on arming the opposition and the release of plans, which, judging by everything, are being prepared, to strike the Syrian government’s positions, then this does not comply with but contradicts the agreement to hold a conference without preliminary conditions.”

”Even if these steps, according to Washington’s perceptions, can create the environment conducive to organizing the international conference on Syria, they in fact contradict our joint initiative”. 

The war in Syria, which is now in its 30th month, has according to latest UN figures cost the lives of more than 100.000, has displaced hundreds of thousands more, and has developed into a regional, low-intensity conflict, which risks to destabilize the region for decades.

A man who tried to rob a gun store with a baseball bat was arrested Thursday after the store manager came out armed and ordered him on the ground, deputies said.

It all started at around 4 p.m. at the Discount Guns at 8118 Beaverton Hillsdale Highway when 22-year-old Derrick Mosley came into the store with a baseball bat and smashed a display case, said Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff’s office.

20 Controversial Questions The Mainstream Media Won’t Touch With A Ten Foot Pole

Why are so many incredibly important news stories completely ignored by the mainstream media in the United States?  Why do they seem to want to avoid many “controversial questions” as if they were the plague?  Why does the media tend to label those that are willing to ask the hard questions and seek the truth as “conspiracy theorists”?  Sadly, the truth is that the mainstream media in America does not do much real journalism anymore.  At this point, approximately 90 percent of what you see on television is controlled by just 6 giant media corporations.  That is why “the news” seems to be so similar no matter what channel you watch.  Well, it turns out that a lot of Americans are getting tired of the safe, censored, pre-packaged news that they get from the corporate-controlled media.  One recent poll found that 77 percent of all Americans do not trust television news at this point.  This distrust has helped fuel the rise of the alternative media, which has absolutely exploded in recent years.

These days, if an important news story is deemed to be “too controversial” or threatens an important political or corporate interest, it is usually first broken either by the alternative media or by a foreign news source.  If the story gets enough traction, sometimes the mainstream media will eventually start covering it as well.

But without a doubt the version of “the news” that is presented to us by the mainstream media is very tightly controlled.  It doesn’t really matter what “the truth” actually is – if a particular story is going to hurt their corporate owners, their corporate advertisers or their favorite politicians, the “gatekeepers” will try to keep that story out of the news.

It is a very twisted system, and the American people need to realize that this is how it actually works.  The media is not there to tell us the truth or to look out for our interests.  Rather, the media is there to “define reality” for us and to tell us what to think.

Today, the average American watches 153 hours of television a month.  That is a staggering amount of information that is being pumped into our brains, and they don’t call it “programming” for no reason.

Unfortunately, even though Americans are so “plugged in”, there are many important things that they never get to hear about.  The following are 20 questions that the mainstream media won’t touch with a ten foot pole right now…

#1 Was foul play involved in the helicopter crash that killed 22 members of the Navy’s elite SEAL Team 6 unit?  Why were all the bodies cremated?  Why was the helicopter’s black box never recovered?  And during a memorial service for the fallen soldiers, why was an imam allowed to pray an Islamic prayer that “included language on U.S. soldiers burning in hell“?

#2 Why is the head of the NSA allowed to call a “top secret” meeting of the U.S. House of Representatives and use it to try to strong-arm members to vote against a bill that would place some significant restrictions on the agency?

#3 Why is the media so silent about the fact that a 72-year-old retiring IRS lawyer has testified that IRS officials in Washington D.C. “planned and oversaw the agency’s improper targeting of conservative groups“?

#4 Why did the man “who leads the IRS Office of Chief Counsel” meet with Barack Obama just days before his office issued new guidelines about how to handle applications from conservative groups?

US Military Plans Direct Intervention in Syria

The Pentagon is planning a major escalation of the US-led war against Syria, involving direct US military involvement to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

In a letter to Democratic Senator Carl Levin, the head of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen. Martin Dempsey spelled out proposals and cost estimates for various potential US interventions in Syria. His plans include training opposition militias in Syria; missile strikes against Syrian targets; setting up a “no-fly zone” to ground or destroy Syria’s air force; seizing “buffer zones” of Syrian territory near Jordan or Turkey; and Special Forces raids to seize chemical weapons.

Pentagon plans include large-scale operations, costing at least tens of billions of dollars per year. Dempsey said Special Forces strikes would cost over $1 billion a month, and missile strikes—requiring “hundreds of aircraft, ships, submarines, and other enablers”—would cost “in the billions.”

Dempsey’s letter followed a vote last week by the US House and Senate intelligence panels to directly arm opposition forces in Syria. Until now, they had been funded and armed by US-allied oil sheikdoms such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and not directly by the US. This allowed Washington to cynically claim the opposition was not on its payroll, even as the CIA coordinated the flow of arms and money.

The Obama administration lobbied intensively for the votes to arm the opposition in Syria. Vice President Joe Biden, CIA Director John Brennan, and Secretary of State John Kerry all called or briefed members of Congress.

The original justification for the Syrian war—that it was a humanitarian struggle to defend a democratic uprising of the Syrian people—is so nakedly exposed that the US and its European allies barely bother to repeat it. They recklessly armed Al Qaeda-linked forces like the Al Nusra Front and promoted a “moderate” stable of CIA assets and regime turncoats, hoping to topple Assad. While the Syrian people faced an onslaught of US-backed gangs and militias, the media and bourgeois “left” praised these forces as revolutionary fighters for democracy.

This criminal policy is now in shambles. This opposition faces defeat due to its lack of popular support and the international spread of the war. In recent months, select Iranian forces and fighters from the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah helped Assad turn the tide of battle against Sunni Islamist-dominated opposition militias.

Washington’s response is to prepare for an even greater bloodbath. Powerful sections of the ruling class are pushing for a broad US war to oust Assad and forcibly assert US imperialist hegemony over the Middle East. Anthony Cordesman, an influential strategist from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), made his case for such a war in a Washington Post column yesterday titled “Syria’s Ripple Effect.”

He wrote, “If Assad succeeds in crushing the opposition or otherwise maintains control over most of Syria, Iran will have a massive new degree of influence over Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon in a polarized Middle East divided between Sunni and Shiite …This would present serious risks for Israel, weaken Jordan and Turkey, and, most important, give Iran far more influence in the Persian Gulf, an area home to 48 percent of the world’s proven oil reserves.”

Cordesman outlined a spectrum of US actions, from providing anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles to the Western-backed militias to imposing a no-fly zone to permit direct US intervention: “US officials could make clear that either the rebels will succeed with such weapons—leading to a negotiated departure of Assad’s government and the installation of a new national government—or the United States will join with allies in creating a no-fly zone.”

Cordesman’s proposal amounts to a call for the Pentagon and its allies to prepare for broad regional or even global wars with mass casualties and devastating effects on the world economy. It could involve the US in a war not only with Syria, but also with Hezbollah forces and the Assad regime’s international backers—Iran, upon which the US imposed further sanctions last week, or even Russia and China.

Layers within the US military have cautioned against a rapid, all-out war, primarily because they are not sure that they are prepared for how such a war would escalate. Thus, in his letter to Levin, Dempsey reportedly wrote: “Once we take action, we should be prepared for what comes next. Deeper involvement is hard to avoid.”

Sections of the ruling class propose to strengthen the opposition and wage a long-term proxy war in Syria to carry out a neocolonial partition of the country. Citing White House Press Secretary Jay Carney’s comment that Assad “will never rule all of Syria again,” the New York Times wrote yesterday that Washington is preparing “the long-term reality of a divided Syria,” of which Assad would only control a “rump portion.”

All these plans to escalate imperialist intervention in the Middle East reflect the crisis and breakdown of American democracy. Ten years after the disastrous and unpopular US invasion of Iraq, imperialist strategists are formulating plans for another ruinous war, with contempt for the views of the population. Fully 61 percent of the population opposes US involvement in the Syrian war, according to a recent Quinnipiac poll.

The ruling elite’s ability to press forward with plans for war underscores the deeply reactionary role of the media and the petty-bourgeois “left” in suppressing any overt expression of popular opposition. In particular, the role of pseudo-left groups like the International Socialist Organization (ISO) in the US, Die Linke in Germany, or the New Anti-capitalist Party (NPA) in France is clear. They have worked continuously to market filthy imperialist wars to left-liberal sections of the middle class as “revolutions.”

These parties have not only supported the wars in their publications, but also played a direct role in the intelligence operations necessary to organize the war. Early in the Syrian war, the NPA’s Gilbert Achcar attended a covert October 2011 conference of the CIA-backed Syrian National Council (SNC) opposition group to advise it on the mechanics of foreign intervention.

These parties have functioned as mouthpieces for various sections of the intelligence community who favor an imperialist overthrow of Assad in alliance with the Islamist opposition.

Thus, a recent article by the NPA’s main writer on Syria, Gayath Naïssé, titled “Self-organization in the Syrian people’s revolution,” praises the opposition militias that control the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor, writing that “a democratic dream has been realized in Deir ez-Zor.” He enthuses that “a free electoral process “was organized for the first time in forty years” as it was described by Khadr, a member of the local council of the opposition which was elected on Sunday by the inhabitants of the “liberated’ areas.”

This is a blatant falsification of the political record of far-right, Al Qaeda-linked militias that have seized various Syrian cities with US support, imposing a reign of terror on the population. In Deir ez-Zor itself, they operate death squads that have recorded widely-publicized videos of themselves murdering inhabitants opposed to their policies. More broadly, Islamist opposition militias have become notorious for looting areas that they control—most notably destroying factories in Aleppo, in order to fund their arms purchases from the United States’ allies.

The ISO’s latest statement on Syria—a piece by Michael Karadjis first posted on the Australian pseudo-left site Links —attacks any opposition to US intervention to back the Syrian opposition. Denouncing “lazy talk of the trickle of light weapons from abroad representing some great ‘war on Syria,’” it attacks opponents of the US intervention as people “terribly frightened about the prospect of a trickle of arms reaching the rebels from the wrong people.”

The statement adds, “It is not up to socialists within imperialist countries to demand our governments not provide arms just because we understand our government’s aims are different to ours and such arming demands a political price from the rebels … If the US or other imperialist states did decide for their own reasons to provide some arms, we should also not protest against it, robotic-style.”

This passage underscores how the ISO functions as a conscious defender of imperialism and war. While acknowledging that the Syrian opposition consists of forces armed by the US government and that therefore act as its stooges, it demands that these pro-US stooges in Syria be armed to the teeth, and that no opposition to such a proxy war be organized.

Such forces are accomplices in the devastation of Syria and ongoing preparations for even broader and bloodier imperialist wars.

The Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird" was an advanced, long-range, Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance aircraft. It was developed as a black project from the Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft in the 1960s by Lockheed and its Skunk Works. Clarence "Kelly" Johnson was responsible for many of the design's innovative concepts. During reconnaissance missions the SR-71 operated at high speeds and altitudes to allow it to outrace threats. If a surface-to-air missile launch was detected, the standard evasive action was simply to accelerate and outfly the missile.

The SR-71 served with the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1998. Of the 32 aircraft built, 12 were lost in accidents, though none to enemy action. The SR-71 has been given several nicknames, including Blackbird and Habu, the latter in reference to an Okinawan species of pit viper. Since 1976, it has held the world record for the fastest air-breathing manned aircraft, a record previously held by the YF-12.

11-year-old girl from Yemen flees arranged marriage, posts YouTube video telling her story

A video posted on LiveLeak and YouTube on Sunday tells the story of an 11-year-old girl from Yemen called Nada Al-Ahdal.

Looking right into the camera, Nada says her parents tried to force her into an arranged marriage but she fled to her uncle’s house, who works as a graphic artist for a local TV station.

She talks about how in Yemen it is common for kids to commit suicide if they are forced into marriage, and how some children’s lives are stolen from them.

Nada is now waiting in hopes that journalists, human-rights activists and different local organizations will help her make a strong case against her parents who are trying to get her back so they can go on with the marriage process.

Yemeni law states that girls of any age are allowed to wed, and according to the United Nations, Yemen has the second youngest population in the world as there are so many young brides.

Nada’s video has now been viewed more than two million times on YouTube.

Sen. McCain Has Temper Tantrum Over Lack of Support for his CIA’s Free Syrian Army alqaeeda to take down Assad.

Senator John McCain, an Arizona Republican and ranking member of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, has threatened to hold up the renomination of Gen. Martin Dempsey as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff following a verbal clash between the two during a committee hearing.

McCain grilled Dempsey and Navy Adm. James Winnefeld. The senator is irritated that the United States has not entered the Syrian war or provided CIA mercenaries operating there with arms to depose the Syrian government and defeat its well-trained and disciplined army.

“I must tell both the witnesses at the onset I’m very concerned about the role you’ve played over the last two years,” groused McCain. “General Dempsey and Admiral Winnefeld, do you believe the continued cost and risk of our inaction in Syria are now worse for our national security interest than the cost and risk associated with limited military action?”

“Senator, as we’ve discussed–” Dempsey tried to respond

“I’d like to know an answer rather than a filibuster,” McCain growled. “I have six minutes and 10 seconds.”

“With all due respect, Senator, you’re asking me to agree that we’ve been inactive, and we have not been inactive,” Dempsey replied.

In May, McCain allegedly ventured to the Middle East to meet with the public relations wing of the so-called rebels, the Free Syrian Army, the mercenary unit with a dismal field record.

“We can identify who these people are. We can help the right people,” McCain told CIA asset Anderson Cooper, an anchor at the Pentagon’s psychological operation headquartered at CNN.

McCain said only a small portion of the so-called rebels are radical jihadists fighting to convert Syria into failed state dominated by Sharia law. In fact, the CIA sponsored “rebels” are largely radical Sunni Salafists who behead Christians and feed them to dogs.

Remarkably, McCain said al-Nusra only accounts for 7,000 of the 100,000 mercenaries inside Syria. In fact, al-Nusra and al-Qaeda dominate the effort to topple al-Assad. “Every single day, more and more extremists flow in… They’re flowing in all the time, these extremists. But they still do not make up a sizable portion,” he said.

“Nowhere in rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of,” the New York Timesreported in April. “The Islamist character of the opposition reflects the main constituency of the rebellion,” the newspaper stated, explaining that this fact is due to “the failure of more mainstream rebel groups to secure regular arms supplies,” in other words supposed ambivalence on the part of the United States has resulted in a failure to more actively support the Free Syrian Army, initially a hodgepodge of secular Syrians who were woefully ill-prepared to fight al-Assad’s well-trained army. Earlier this month, it was reported that FSA mercenaries are defecting to al-Nusra and the radical Muslim groups in record numbers.

During Dempsey’s interrogation by McCain, the general stressed the government is concerned about al-Qaeda and other Salafist groups attempting to overthrow the al-Assad regime in Syria.

In June, we reported on comments made by Sheikh Nabil Naiim, considered to be the historical leader of the Islamic Jihadist movement in Egypt. Naiim, who led the Safwa al-Qaeda training camp where he allegedly met Osama Bin Laden and later worked with al-Qaeda boss Ayman al-Zawahiri in Yemen, said he believes al-Nusra is led by the CIA.

“I personally believe that the leader of the Nusra Army (Mohammed al-Jawlani), who declared his support for Ayman Al Zawahiri, is a CIA operative in the al-Nusra,” he said.

Naimm said he believes the CIA allowed al-Qaeda to operate in Afghanistan and were being manipulated. He told al-Nusra members in a video dispatch that it is “fighting the war in Syria on America’s behalf” and that eventually will “be called terrorists and you will be killed or put in prison just like what happened to us after Afghanistan.”

“These leaders are manipulating you, you will find yourself dying and the Americans fulfilling their goals not yours,” Naiim added.

Jenny McCarthy repelled a massive attack from enemies of health freedom to land a co-host role at ABC’s flagship morning talk show The View.

You can tell this is a huge victory for health freedom by the howls of indignation from the advocates of forced medication. The mere suggestion that Jenny might question mandatory vaccines on such a prominent national media platform is enough to send authoritarian medical mafia types into conniptions.

Vaccine pushers have an unshakeable faith in vaccines. They are either ignorant of or deliberately concealing knowledge of vaccine failure and vaccine injury. Most of them have probably never read the medical textbook definition of a vaccine adverse reaction, the same definition that is on vaccine package inserts and the same thing that afflicts a generation of vaccine damaged children – encephalitis.

Hopefully Jenny will inform the public about the American Medical Association’s definition of informed consent: A patient has the right to refuse a medical procedure. The mere suggestion that parents might exercise that basic right with regard to vaccines is unthinkable to the vaccine zealots that object so vociferously to Jenny’s presence on The View. They and their pharmaceutical industry overlords must be getting apoplexy at the thought of moms getting educated about real-world vaccine risks. There are reputable non-pharma-funded doctors and scientists who will tell the truth about vaccines. Let’s hope they get on The View.

Congratulations to Jenny McCarthy for scoring this mainstream media gig and thanks to ABC for hiring her. While autism and vaccine injury are not likely to be the main daily story on The View, please don’t forget those of us that have vaccine-injured or vaccine-killed children.
